AI & IT Teacher Secondary

Billimoria High School, Panchgani, is a leading residential institution that blends academic excellence with innovation. In line with the National Education Policy (NEP) and the growing need for digital literacy, we are looking for a dynamic AI & IT Teacher who can teach both foundational IT skills and advanced Artificial Intelligence concepts to Secondary Grades

Role Overview:
The AI & IT Teacher will be responsible for teaching computer science fundamentals, digital literacy, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to students. The role includes preparing students for the digital future, integrating project-based learning, and nurturing creativity in technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach IT skills: MS Office, Google Workspace, internet safety, and digital productivity tools.
• Deliver AI curriculum covering Python programming, machine learning basics, data handling, and ethical use of AI.
• Guide students in hands-on projects, coding exercises, and innovation challenges.
• Mentor students for competitions in coding, robotics, and AI.
• Collaborate with faculty to integrate IT and AI into interdisciplinary learning.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and adapt teaching materials accordingly.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, AI, Data Science, or related field.
• Teaching experience in IT/Computer Science; exposure to AI curriculum preferred.
• Proficiency in Python and educational AI tools.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts simply.
• Passion for technology education and mentoring young learners.
