Internship Title: AI Intern

Duration: 3 \- 6 Months

About the Role:

We are seeking passionate and driven individuals eager to apply their knowledgeof Python, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Machine Learning (ML) inreal\-world settings. This internship offers hands\-on experience in AI modeldevelopment, testing, and deployment, aligned with the latest IIT RPRcurriculum.

As an AI & Data Science Intern, you\ll collaborateclosely with our engineering and product teams on projects across ComputerVision, Natural Language Processing (NLP), IoT, and automation. This is anexcellent opportunity to deepen your technical expertise and build impactful,portfolio\-worthy work.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, train, and test machine learning and deep learning models (Regression, SVM, CNN, RNN, Transformers, etc.).

Perform data preprocessing, feature extraction, and model evaluation.

Use Python libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, and Seaborn for data analysis and visualization.

Implement foundational AI applications like recommendation systems, chatbots, image classification, or fraud detection.

Support research and development in areas such as LLMs, NLP, and TinyML.

Contribute to IoT and robotics prototypes involving sensors, edge devices, and model deployment.

Document experiments, datasets, and model performance for internal reporting.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

Strong command of Python programming (loops, data structures, file handling, OOPs).

Understanding of data analysis, statistics, and probability.

Basic knowledge of machine learning algorithms (Regression, Clustering, Neural Networks).

Familiarity with AI\/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit\-learn, or Keras.

Foundational knowledge of NLP, Computer Vision, or IoT is an advantage.

Excellent problem\-solving and analytical abilities.

A strong desire to learn, experiment, and innovate.

Preferred Qualifications:

Completed coursework or certification in AI, ML, Python, or Deep Learning.

Experience using tools like Google Colab, Jupyter Notebook, or Hugging Face.

Learning Outcomes:

Hands\-on experience with end\-to\-end AI project pipelines \from data collection to deployment.

Exposure to real\-world AI applications across finance, agriculture, healthcare, and smart cities.

Practical experience with transformer models and LLM\-based systems.

Understanding of AI fairness, ethics, and regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, DPDP Act).
