Job Description

AI-Engineer Intern

Location:

Convert product requirements and UI designs into full-stack features using React and Node.js/Express.
Use AI-assisted tools (AI IDEs, LLMs, design-to-code, and automation scripts) to accelerate development.
Build and maintain APIs, integrate databases, and implement authentication/authorization workflows.
Train, fine-tune, and integrate AI/LLM models including RAG pipelines for real clinical and technical tasks.
Develop reusable AI utilities and maintain reproducible prompt workflows for team collaboration.
Ensure compliance with secure coding, data protection, and healthcare software standards.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong foundation in JavaScript/TypeScript with React (hooks) and Node.js.
Experience in full-stack web development, API integration, and data handling.
Practical exposure to AI-assisted development, LLMs, or fine-tuning workflows.
Basic understanding of RAG architecture, vector databases, and prompt optimization.
Familiarity with REST/GraphQL APIs, authentication (OAuth/JWT), and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong problem-solving, adaptability, and eagerness to explore emerging AI tools.

Preferred Skills / Nice-to-Have

Experience in startups or agile product teams (fast-paced environment).
Hands-on experience with healthcare/EMR systems or health data workflows.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), serverless architecture, or ML/NLP integration.
Experience deploying or maintaining fine-tuned or RAG-based AI systems.
