AI Engineer

About the Role

Jaiinfoway is looking for a juniormid level AI Engineer with 1–3 years of hands-on experience in machine learning / generative AI to help design, build, and deploy AI solutions for global clients. The role involves working on real-world projects in NLP, RAG, computer vision, and predictive analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and AI models for production use cases.
• Collect, clean, and preprocess structured and unstructured data (text, images, logs, etc.).
• Implement and fine-tune models using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Contribute to GenAI and RAG solutions using LLM frameworks (LangChain / LlamaIndex) and vector databases.
• Build APIs / microservices (Python/FastAPI/Flask) to integrate AI models with applications.
• Run experiments, evaluate models, and iterate using metrics such as accuracy, F1, ROC-AUC, BLEU, etc.
• Work closely with senior engineers, data scientists, and product managers to understand business requirements and translate them into AI solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and MLOps workflows (versioning, monitoring, CI/CD for models).
• Stay updated with latest research and tools in AI/ML and bring ideas to improve current solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, or related field.
• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML development (internships can be counted for freshers with strong projects).
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML libraries (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn).
• Practical experience building at least 1–2 end-to-end ML or GenAI projects (training, evaluation, deployment).
• Knowledge of deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Good understanding of core ML concepts: supervised/unsupervised learning, feature engineering, overfitting, regularization, etc.
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and Git-based workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity to learn, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Good to Have (Preferred)

• Experience with LLMs, OpenAI/Anthropic/Bedrock APIs, LangChain, or RAG pipelines.
• Exposure to NLP (text classification, summarization, chatbots) or computer vision (image classification, detection).
• Familiarity with Docker, REST APIs, and basic MLOps tools (MLflow, Weights & Biases, or similar).
• Experience working with SQL/NoSQL databases and data pipelines.
