Role Overview: As a Manager in the S&C Global Network - AI - Merchandising Analytics team at Accenture, you will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives, managing business transformations, and leveraging industry expertise to create value-driven solutions. You will provide strategic advisory services, conduct market research, and develop data-driven recommendations to enhance business performance. Key Responsibilities: - Provide strategic advisory services, conduct market research, and develop data-driven recommendations to enhance business performance. - Possess relevant experience in the required domain with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with knowledge of SQL, R, and Python languages, and at least one cloud-based technology (Azure, AWS, GCP). - Build price/discount elasticity models and conduct non-linear optimization. - Utilize state space & mixed-effect modeling techniques and optimization algorithms applicable to industry data. - Experience in AI capability migration from one cloud platform to another and manage documentation of data models, architecture, and maintenance processes. - Understanding of econometric/statistical modeling and analysis techniques such as regression analysis, hypothesis testing, multivariate statistical analysis, time series techniques, optimization techniques, and statistical packages such as R, Python, SQL, PySpark. - Proficient in Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, etc. - Strong client and team management skills with the ability to plan large-scale projects with risk assessment. Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of advanced experience in Data Driven Merchandising with knowledge of Pricing/Promotions/Assortment Optimization capabilities. - Knowledge of price/discount elasticity estimation and experience in working with non-linear optimization techniques. - Proficiency in Statistical Timeseries models, store clustering algorithms, descriptive analytics to support merch AI capability. - Hands-on experience in state space modeling and mixed effect regression. - Development of AI/ML models in the Azure ML tech stack. - Developing and managing data pipelines within different layers of the Snowflake environment. - Awareness of common design patterns for scalable machine learning architectures and tools for deploying and maintaining machine learning models in production. - Working knowledge of Price/Promo optimization and creating insights presentations and client-ready decks. - Ability to mentor and guide a team of 10-15 people, manage client relationships, and communicate insights and recommendations effectively. - Logical thinking and advanced task management skills.
