Role Summary

AI Architect

You will work closely with existing AI, data science, and engineering teams to enhance and scale AI capabilities while ensuring regulatory compliance and ethical AI practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement

  enterprise-scale AI/ML solutions

  using the

  Microsoft Azure AI platform

• Design

  hybrid AI architectures

  combining public LLMs (GPT-4, Claude, Gemini) with fine-tuned, domain-specific small language models
• Lead AI initiatives across underwriting, claims processing, fraud detection, policy administration, and document automation
  
• Design and manage

  AI workflows and orchestration using n8n

• Establish and maintain

  AI model lifecycle management

  , MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring
• Architect data platforms supporting AI workloads using

  Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, and Microsoft Fabric

• Define and implement

  Responsible AI and AI governance frameworks

  ensuring compliance with GDPR, EU AI Act, and Solvency II
• Collaborate with and mentor data scientists and ML engineers on architectural best practices
  
• Drive innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement in AI systems
  

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with

  Microsoft Azure AI stack

  model fine-tuning, transfer learning, few-shot/zero-shot learning

• Expertise in

  Responsible AI

  , explainability (SHAP, LIME), and bias detection (Fairlearn, AI Fairness 360)

Required Experience

• 7+ years of experience in

  AI/ML, data science, or software engineering

• 3+ years of experience architecting and deploying

  production AI/ML systems

• Proven experience delivering

  AI solutions in insurance or financial services

• Experience working in

  regulated environments

  with strong governance requirements
