Job Description

Opening is with cooling tower Manufacturing co -

Role & responsibilities

Design and analysis:
Conduct thermal and structural design calculations, and size components for cooling towers.
Drawing and documentation:
Prepare and review general arrangement (GA), detailed fabrication drawings, and technical documentation.
Cross-functional collaboration:
Work with sales, estimation, project execution, and production teams to provide technical support.
Compliance and standards:
Ensure designs meet or exceed relevant industry standards, including CTI, IS, ASME, and other codes.
BOM and cost estimation:
Create accurate Bills of Materials and assist with cost estimations for projects.
Project support:
Provide technical assistance during proposal stages, handle client queries, and coordinate with clients and consultants.
Design optimization and R&D:
Support R&D for developing new models and improving efficiency and manufacturability.
On-site duties:
May be required to perform performance guarantee tests at project sites.

Required skills and qualifications

Education:
B.E. or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering is often mandatory.
Technical skills:

Strong knowledge of thermal, mechanical, and structural design principles.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
Familiarity with cooling tower components like fills, drift eliminators, fans, and motors.
