AGM - Packaging Design & Development

Your primary responsibilities will include: - Packaging Design & Development for both new and existing products, catering to both domestic and international markets. - Leading New Product Development Projects for Pharmaceuticals & Consumer Business segments. - Overseeing Design & Development aspects such as Artwork Development, Transit Trials, Packaging Specification development, Stability studies, Prototype approval, Line trials, Cost negotiation, Packaging material delivery & Implementation, and exploring Alternate packaging options. - Driving financial efficiencies by implementing cost-saving strategies for packaging materials through strategic procurement initiatives. - Managing Strategic Project Initiatives encompassing Business analysis, Spend analysis, Opportunity Analysis, Option generation, Portfolio analysis, Sourcing approach, Strategy creation & Implementation, Specification optimization, and Size rationalization. - Spearheading Cost-saving initiatives for packaging materials and facilitating Value engineering for existing and new business requirements. - Promoting Innovation by conceptualizing novel ideas related to packaging materials, design, and processes to enhance product packaging. - Engaging in Packaging Material vendor development to identify new or alternate vendors based on approved business ideas. - Executing Design Re-engineering projects to enhance the design and appearance of products for Emerging and Regulated markets. - Providing project management support for the launch of new export customer requirements, particularly for Biologics & Other Injectable products. - Managing Packaging Procurement Operations for New Product Development, including Trial materials arrangement, Sourcing, Vendor Development, Selection and Performance Evaluation, Change control, Material code creation, Cost Negotiations, Shade card approval, and ensuring timely packaging material supply for initial commercial production. - Facilitating the smooth transition of sourcing & procurement activities to the packaging procurement team for subsequent supplies. Your role at USV will be instrumental in driving innovation, cost savings, and efficiency enhancements in packaging design and procurement processes to support the company's strategic objectives and global expansion endeavors.,
