Key Responsibilities

1. MEP & ELV Procurement Strategy

• Develop and execute procurement strategies for:
  
• Electrical systems (LT panels, lighting, cabling, power distribution)
  
• HVAC systems (VRF, DX, ducting, insulation, controls)
  
• Plumbing & drainage systems
  
• Fire Fighting & Fire Alarm systems
  
• ELV systems (Networking, Access Control, CCTV, PA, AV, BMS, VESDA, NOVEC, etc.)
  
• Align procurement plans with project timelines, approvals, and execution schedules
  

2. Vendor Identification & Management

• Identify, evaluate, onboard, and manage MEP, ELV, and Life Safety vendors
  
• Build and maintain a strong vendor ecosystem for technical packages
  
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, warranties, and SLAs
  
• Drive preferred vendor and rate-contract programs
  

3. Cost Control & Value Engineering

• Lead cost optimization and value engineering initiatives
  
• Ensure compliance with design intent and statutory requirements
  
• Benchmark market rates and maintain updated technical rate cards
  
• Coordinate with Design & Projects teams for alternate makes and system optimization
  

4. Project-Level Procurement Execution

• Coordinate with Design, Projects, and Finance teams for:
  
• Accurate PO/WO issuance as per approved BOQs and specifications
  
• Timely material ordering and site deliveries
  
• Tracking long-lead MEP and ELV items
  
• Support site teams in resolving vendor, material, and technical issues
  

5. Technical Compliance & Authority Support

• Ensure procurement aligns with approved drawings and specifications
  
• Support compliance with local authority requirements (Fire Dept., Civil Defence, SEWA/DEWA where applicable)
  
• Assist consultants and execution teams with:
  
• Technical submittals
  
• Material approvals
  
• OEM documentation and certifications
  

6. Quality Assurance & Risk Management

• Ensure all procured materials and systems meet project quality standards and OEM norms
  
• Track warranties, test reports, commissioning, and handover documentation
  
• Identify and mitigate procurement and supply-chain risks
  

7. Process Building & Team Leadership

• Develop SOPs for MEP & ELV procurement processes
  
• Mentor and manage procurement team members
  
• Drive digitization and structured tracking of procurement data
  

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience

• 1015 years of experience in

  MEP / ELV Procurement or Technical Supply Chain

• Strong exposure to

  commercial interiors, real estate, or large construction projects

• Experience handling multiple technical packages simultaneously
  

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of:
  
• Electrical, HVAC, and Plumbing systems
  
• Fire Fighting & Fire Alarm systems
  
• ELV systems including IT networking, security, AV, and BMS
  
• Ability to read and interpret BOQs, drawings, specifications, and schematics
  
• Knowledge of OEMs, system integrations, and compliance standards

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in

  Electrical / Mechanical / Instrumentation Engineering

• MBA / Postgraduate qualification in Supply Chain or Operations (preferred)
