Location : Jamshedpur

Qualification : Diploma/ B .Tech-Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunication

Experience : 20+ Years

Role Overview

The Incumbent will be responsible for planning, execution, and commissioning of electrical systems for the Captive Power Plant (CPP). The role requires expertise in project management, electrical design, equipment selection, installation, testing, and ensuring timely execution as per quality, safety, and cost standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the

  end-to-end execution

  of electrical works for captive power plant projects (HT/LT systems, transformers, switchgear, protection systems, power distribution).
• Review and finalize

  engineering designs, drawings, and technical specifications

  for electrical equipment and systems.
• Coordinate with

  consultants, OEMs, contractors, and internal teams

  for smooth project execution.
• Ensure compliance with

  statutory requirements, safety norms, and quality standards

  .
• Monitor and control

  project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation

  .
• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment including

  turbogenerators, switchyards, control panels, SCADA/DCS systems

  .
• Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure

  timely resolution

  to avoid project delays.
• Conduct

  technical evaluations, vendor negotiations, and procurement support

  for major electrical equipment.
• Drive implementation of

  energy efficiency measures

  and latest technologies in electrical systems.
• Prepare and present

  MIS reports, progress reviews, and project updates

  to management.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the project electrical team to achieve project milestones.
