After Sales and Service Technician- Electrical

Role Overview: As an After Sales and Service Technician for Chennai (Guindy) in the South Region, your role involves handling preventive maintenance and quickly fixing breakdowns. You will troubleshoot PLC issues, set up VFD parameters, and modify elect panels. Additionally, you will diagnose and fix electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems. It is essential to read electrical diagrams and replace components like relays, switches, and contactors. You will work independently at customer sites and occasionally provide remote support. Keeping records, preparing reports, and training others on machine operation and maintenance are also part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Handle preventive maintenance and address breakdowns promptly. - Troubleshoot PLC issues, configure VFD parameters, and adjust elect panels. - Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems. - Read electrical diagrams and replace components such as relays, switches, and contactors. - Work independently at customer sites and offer remote support as needed. - Maintain records, generate reports, and conduct training on machine operation and maintenance. - Commission new machines and share reports with the team. Qualifications Required: - ITI (Electrical) qualification. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in machine maintenance. - Strong hands-on skills with industrial machines. - Good experience with PLC, VFD, and control circuits. - Comfortable with electrical wiring, hydraulic & pneumatic systems. - Willingness to travel within the region and take ownership of work. - Ability to read diagrams and troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
