Aero Structural Design Engineer

As a Mechanical or Aerospace Engineer at our company, your role will involve analyzing and interpreting engineering inputs such as Change Requests, Technical Requirement Documents (TRDs), and customer specifications. You will be responsible for designing and modeling components using CATIA V5, with a focus on Part Design, Surface Design, Assembly, Sheet Metal, and Drafting. Your tasks will include developing detailed designs for metallic structures, as well as possessing foundational knowledge of sheet metal, casting, and forging. You will also conduct detailed and assembly-level dimensional stack-ups, support material selection, conduct component weight assessments, and select appropriate fasteners based on structural requirements and design standards. Your responsibilities will also include conducting trade studies and evaluations to support design decisions. Applying Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), creating Model-Based Definitions (MBD), generating 3D PDFs, and preparing technical documentation will be essential aspects of your role.
