Job Description

As a member of the Lenovo team, you will be responsible for managing ME related components including housing, inlay, hinge, stylus, camera lens, and antenna. Your role will involve working closely with suppliers and cross-functional team members to evaluate product design (DFx) and develop mitigation plans for risk control and issue improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Evaluate product design (DFx) and develop mitigation plans for risk control and issue improvement - Collaborate internally and externally to ensure stable processes supporting business requirements - Engage in parts end-to-end development and quality control - Assist in supplier development activities such as supplier introduction, audits, and performance evaluations - Support issue analysis and resolution, as well as delivery support for NPCE and GSM teams - Collaborate with suppliers to drive quality and capability improvement - Identify opportunities for process or procedure reinvention - Drive manufacturing yield improvement in both early development and mass production phases - Lead failure analysis, root cause verification, and corrective action implementation - Drive suppliers on quality improvement initiatives such as PYSR, LAR, VLRR, and TCRR Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field - Experience in product design evaluation and risk mitigation - Strong collaboration and communication skills - Knowledge of quality control processes and supplier management - Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives - Experience in failure analysis and corrective action implementation Lenovo is a global technology company with a vision to deliver Smarter Technology for All, building a more inclusive, trustworthy, and smarter future for everyone, everywhere.
