Advisory-Digital-MITS-Patching Administrator -L4/L5 Advisory-Digital-MITS-Patching Administrator -L4/L5 27-05-2025 Job Summary Reports To Position Candidates Job Title Advisory-Digital-MITS-Patching Administrator -L4/L5 B.E/B.Tech Experience Required (yrs) 6 - 8 years Job Description Job Duties Windows server and workstation Patching Subject Matter Expert Coordinate client patching for all patching entitlements under our Service Agreements Be able to support patching maintenances Assist in tracking all patching entitlements under our Service Agreements Shift: Friday Tuesday 8:30am 5:00pm IST Coordinate CVE response for Zero Day Patching Acts as the primary coordinator for Patch Management activities for monthly endpoint security patching for Windows devices Schedules, coordinates, gains approvals, and plans Windows security patching for customer devices Analyzes risk and test patching on a monthly basis, based on Microsoft Patch release schedules, community feedback, and internal testing Coordinates with account team representatives to ensure Patching execution is unobtrusive and planned according to customer requirements Designs and implements documentation and procedures for Managed Services & the NOC team on execution of security updates in adherence to industry best practices Oversees and manages tooling required for execution of Patch Management including but not limited to N-central PME (Patch Management Engine) Oversees onboarding and kick-off of Patch Management for new employee contracts and onboardings including providing input on licensing, customer environment requirements, special environment considerations Maintains and supports non-Windows Patch activities including but not limited to 3 rd Party Application Patching, Ad-hoc Network/Firewall patching entitlements and other security and firmware updates Coordinates with Network Operations Center, Escalations resources, and Customer Success Managers within Managed Services to maintain proper scheduling and execution of off-hours Patch Management activities Participates in an on-call rotation to assist with Patching processes during off-hours shifts Other duties, as required Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Education: High School diploma or GED, required Bachelor s Degree with major in Information Technology or Computer Science, preferred Experience: Four (4) or more years of experience managing, troubleshooting, configuring patching maintenances Experiences in Patch Management Engine (PME) patching Experience in one of the following technical areas: O365/M365, Azure/AWS/Cloud Technologies, Complex Networking, Physical Infrastructure & Server OS (Hypervisors, SANs, Virtualization), required Three (3) or more years of experience in security and patch management of Microsoft Windows operating systems, required Experience troubleshooting Server OS, Virtualization, Networking, Cloud, and other Infrastructure stack incidents Client facing consulting experience, preferred One (1) or more years of experience in third-party patch execution utilities such as SCCM or Azure Intune, preferred License(s)/Certification(s): Certification(s) in Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate (AZ-800, AZ-801) preferred Certification(s) in Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500) preferred Software: One (1) or more of the following, required: Microsoft Operating Systems suite of products such as: Office 365, Active Directory, Azure, Exchange, Windows Server Remote Management or Monitoring/Observability Solution Software. Ex.
