The Advanced Welding Training Center is a cutting-edge facility dedicated to skilling trainees for the Advanced Certification in Digital Robotic Integration (ACDRI). Prioritizing precision, safety, and industry readiness, we are looking for a dedicated individual to oversee the daily operations of the training center. As the Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include supervising daily center activities, ensuring optimal functionality of welding equipment (TIG/MIG, robotic systems), delivering high-impact training, and maintaining compliance with ACDRI standards. Key Responsibilities: - Operational Management: Supervise daily center activities, including equipment setup, maintenance, and safety protocols. Ensure TIG/MIG machines and robotic welding arms are operational, calibrated, and maintained per manufacturer guidelines. Manage inventory of welding consumables, tools, and safety gear. - Training Delivery & Quality Assurance: Lead hands-on training sessions on manual (TIG/MIG) and robotic welding techniques aligned with ACDRI certification requirements. Monitor trainee progress, conduct skill assessments, and provide feedback for improvement. Update training curricula to incorporate industry advancements and Fronius technology updates. - Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety standards and center policies. Conduct safety briefings, equipment inspections, and emergency drills. Maintain documentation for audits, incident reports, and compliance records. - Equipment & Technology Stewardship: Troubleshoot technical issues with Fronius machines/robotic systems and coordinate repairs with vendors. Train staff and trainees on safe, efficient operation of all welding equipment. Implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime. - Team & Stakeholder Coordination: Supervise instructors, technicians, and support staff. Collaborate with ACDRI partners to align training outcomes with industry needs. Report on center performance, trainee progress, and resource requirements to management. Qualifications & Skills: Education: Diploma/Degree in Welding Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field. AWS/CWI or equivalent welding certifications (mandatory). Experience: 5+ years in welding operations, including expertise with Fronius TIG/MIG systems and robotic welding arms. 2+ years in a supervisory role (training/industrial environment preferred). Proven experience in curriculum delivery for technical skilling programs. Technical Skills: Mastery of TIG/MIG welding techniques and robotic programming. Ability to troubleshoot/maintain Fronius welding equipment. Proficiency in welding software (e.g., WeldCloud, Robotic OS). Soft Skills: Leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution abilities. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Commitment to safety, quality, and trainee success. Desired Attributes: Experience with ACDRI or similar industry certification programs. Knowledge of digital welding documentation and IoT-enabled systems. Flexibility to adapt schedules for training workshops or maintenance. Working Conditions: Workshop environment with exposure to heat, fumes, and high-noise machinery. PPE (helmet, gloves, apron) required during practical sessions. Occasional weekend/evening work for equipment maintenance or training events.,
