Advanced Supplier Quality Engineer

Key Targets/Deliverables: Ensuring the availability of part-specific specifications, taking into account the applicable and, in particular, customer requirements, as well as assignment of the material group/ supplier managers. Ensuring the achievement of project goals in terms of quality, schedule, degree of maturity as well as economic efficiency. Participation in the definition of standards Support in strategic supplier selection as well as supplier development process Strategy & Market Passing on the derived requirements for purchased parts from the PEP and product development to Supplier Quality Experts in order to have a suitable supplier portfolio available to fulfil the technology and product requirements from the PEP and SMK projects with suitable measures over the entire project/product lifetime. Operational Business For all BOM positions of PEP or SMK projects: Categorization and assignment of BOM items as well as scheduling of the project relevant task Ensuring the timely processing of work packages according to the project plan Coordination of the purchase part qualification scopes Scheduling control of a purchase part coordinated APQP process (audits, Run@Rate, sampling requirements, corrections/optimizations, safe launch) •Initiation, support and monitoring of problem-solving strategies within the assigned area of responsibility Ensuring and maintaining defined standards within the assigned area of responsibility •Provide resource planning database from assigned product area Coordination of tasks globally within the assigned product segment Leadership •Provide professional leadership to the Advanced Supplier Quality Specialist within the assigned product segment. Responsible & Decides: Responsibility for all purchased parts in assigned SMK and PEP projects globally and segment specific. Interface from PEP and PC to Supplier Quality Experts, Supplier Quality Assurance, Quality Planning, Project Management, R&D and Project Procurement
