Job Description

Key Deliverables:

Translate engineering requirements into test specifications and develop component specifications for lab setups
Build and validate test facilities for electromechanical components like motors, inverters, and transformers
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate lab plans with EHS, compliance, and logistics teams
Expand testing capabilities by driving high utilization of test setups and working with global stakeholders

Role Responsibilities:

Design and develop validation strategies for locomotive electrical components and subsystems
Ensure compliance with international standards related to electrical machines and power systems
Lead the setup of prototype testing, including test rigs, data acquisition, and instrumentation
Foster innovation in lab capabilities and engage with external labs for extended testing capabilities
