Job Description

An "Adobe Tagging Specialist" is a professional responsible for implementing, managing, and maintaining tracking tags on a companys digital properties using an Adobe tag management system, such as Adobe Experience Platform Tags (formerly Adobe Launch ). Their goal is to ensure accurate data collection, support digital analytics, and help with personalized customer experiences by deploying and managing third-party marketing and advertising tools.

Key Responsibilities

Tag Implementation:

Deploying and configuring tags on websites and other digital properties to collect specific data.

Tag Management:

Administering the tag management system, including setting up rules, extensions, and integrations with other marketing and analytics tools.

Data Validation:

Testing, validating, and debugging analytics implementations to ensure accurate data collection and prevent issues.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Working with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements for analytics.

Technical Support:

Providing expertise to internal stakeholders on analytics tagging, data integration, and data validation.

QA & Testing:

Defining and overseeing quality assurance activities to maintain data integrity and tracking accuracy.

Custom Code Development:

Creating custom JavaScript and front-end code to support complex web measurement and analytics requirements.

Best Practices:

Ensuring implementations adhere to data privacy, security, and performance best practices.
