Job Summary:

The Admission Counsellor is responsible for guiding prospective students (and their parents) through the admission process, providing accurate information about courses, programs, eligibility, and campus facilities. The counsellor plays a key role in achieving enrollment targets by converting inquiries into admissions through effective communication and counseling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Student Counseling & Conversion
  • Handle inquiries from students and parents via calls, emails, walk-ins, and online platforms.
  • Provide detailed information about programs, courses, eligibility criteria, fee structure, admission procedures, etc.
  • Counsel students to help them choose suitable academic programs based on their interests and career goals.
  • Follow up regularly with leads to ensure timely admissions and meet enrollment targets.
  • Admissions Process Management
  • Assist students with the application process, documentation, and fee payment.
  • Maintain and update student databases and inquiry records in CRM systems.
  • Coordinate with academic and administrative departments to ensure smooth onboarding of new students.
  • Outreach & Promotion
  • Participate in education fairs, school visits, seminars, and promotional activities.
  • Support marketing initiatives to generate qualified leads.
  • Build relationships with schools, coaching centers, and other educational partners.
  • Reporting & Analysis
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on inquiries, follow-ups, and conversions.
  • Analyze admission trends and provide feedback for improving conversion rates.

  • Good understanding of the education sector
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
  • Goal-oriented and self-motivated
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet targets

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in any discipline
  • 1–3 years of experience in counseling, sales, or customer service (preferably in the education industry)
  • Freshers with strong communication skills may also apply

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time; willingness to work on weekends or extended hours during admission season

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
