As an Admission Counsellor at Nalanda Vidyaniketan School, you will be responsible for guiding prospective students and their families through the admissions process. Your role will involve engaging with families, organizing information sessions and tours, managing the admissions process, and collaborating with academic staff. Your excellent communication skills and passion for helping families make informed decisions about their children's education will be crucial in this position. Key Responsibilities: - Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students and families, providing detailed information about the school's programs, culture, and values. - Guide families through the admissions process, including application submission, interviews, campus tours, and testing. - Organize and conduct information sessions and campus tours for prospective students and parents. - Maintain regular follow-up with prospective students and families via phone calls, emails, and meetings. - Assist in reviewing and processing applications, ensuring all required documentation is complete. - Collaborate with academic staff to understand program offerings and communicate accurate information to prospective students. - Assist in planning and executing admissions-related events such as open houses and orientation programs. - Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for attracting new students. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Education, Counselling, or related field; Master's degree preferred. - Experience in admissions, recruitment, or student services in a higher education setting. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset. - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. In this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and experience in education or counseling. Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite is also desirable.
