Admission Counselor

Position: Admission Counsellor
Location: Pimpri
Salary Range: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month
Reporting To: Admissions Manager / Head of Admissions
Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Campus

Role Overview

The Admission Counsellor will be responsible for guiding prospective students and parents throughout the admission process for engineering and other academic programs offered by the institute. The role involves handling enquiries, providing accurate information, counselling students, managing applications, and ensuring smooth conversion from prospect to enrolled student.

Key Responsibilities
1. Student Counselling & Guidance

  • Handle walk-ins, phone calls, email and website enquiries.
  • Provide detailed information about courses, eligibility, fees, scholarships, hostel, placement, and campus facilities.
  • Counsel students based on their academic background, interests, and career objectives.
  • Conduct campus tours and information sessions for students and parents.

2. Admission Process & Documentation

  • Assist students with application forms, required documents, eligibility verification, and deadlines.
  • Coordinate with the academic and administrative teams for document approval and admission processing.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of all student documentation.

3. Lead Management & Follow-Ups

  • Maintain and update student enquiries in CRM / MIS.
  • Follow up with potential leads through calls, messages, and emails to ensure maximum conversions.
  • Track application statuses and provide updates to students until enrolment is completed.

4. Outreach & Promotion

  • Participate in school/college visits, education fairs, seminars, and webinars.
  • Represent the institute professionally to promote its programs and strengthen brand visibility.
  • Support marketing initiatives and contribute to student recruitment strategies.

5. Coordination & Reporting

  • Work closely with internal departments to resolve admission issues.
  • Provide daily/weekly reports on enquiries, follow-ups, conversions, and closures.
  • Maintain high levels of customer service and professionalism at all times.

Qualifications & SkillsEducational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Education, Management, or related fields preferred)
