Role Overview

The Admin Block Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, facilities, and administrative services of the Universitys Admin Block. The role ensures smooth coordination among departments, efficient utilization of resources, and adherence to institutional policies, while maintaining a professional and welcoming environment for staff, students, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and manage all operations and administrative functions within the Admin Block.

Coordinate with various departments, faculty, and staff to ensure seamless functioning.

Oversee front desk operations, visitor management, and grievance handling.

Ensure proper upkeep, cleanliness, safety, and maintenance of the Admin Block.

Manage housekeeping, security, IT support, and other facility-related services.

Monitor utilization of meeting rooms, offices, and common areas.

Maintain records, files, and documentation relevant to Admin Block operations.

Handle procurement requests related to office supplies, stationery, and facilities.

Assist in organizing official meetings, events, and conferences held in the Admin Block.

Ensure compliance with university policies, administrative guidelines, and statutory requirements.

Train and supervise administrative support staff assigned to the Admin Block.

Prepare reports and submit updates to the Registrar/Director Administration on operations and improvements.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelors/Master’s degree in Administration, Management, or related field.

5–8 years of proven experience in administration, facilities management, or operations (experience in an educational institution preferred).

Strong organizational, leadership, and multitasking skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP/administrative software.

Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
