As an Assistant working in this role, you will be responsible for assisting the principal and senior administrative staff in routine tasks. You will manage correspondence including letters, emails, notices, and circulars. Your duties will also include maintaining and organizing college records and documentation such as student records, staff files, and circulars. Your key responsibilities will involve assisting with student admissions by distributing forms, collecting documents, and performing data entry tasks. You will be expected to maintain and update student databases related to enrollment, attendance, and results. Additionally, you will generate and issue bonafide certificates, transfer certificates, and other relevant documents as needed. In this role, you will act as a point of contact between students, parents, staff, and external parties. Your tasks will include answering phone calls, responding to queries, and forwarding calls/messages appropriately. You will also be required to coordinate with various departments within the college such as academic, accounts, exam cell, and library to ensure smooth inter-departmental communication. Other responsibilities will include handling printing, photocopying, and filing tasks, as well as maintaining registers/logs for student and staff activities. You will assist in preparing reports, presentations, and notices for meetings or events. Proficiency in using MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for maintaining records and preparing reports will be essential. Furthermore, you will be responsible for entering and updating data in college management systems (CMS/ERP software, if used). Qualifications Required: - Prior experience in administrative support roles would be beneficial - Proficiency in MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint - Strong organizational and communication skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Please note that this is a full-time role that requires in-person work at the specified location.
