Responsibility

• Prepare and deliver lectures, discussions, and other learning activities.
• Ensure that course content aligns with department standards and learning objectives.
• Utilize various teaching methods and technologies to enhance student engagement and learning.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and academic performance.
• Integrate current research, trends, and technology into course content when applicable.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment.
• Hold regular office hours to provide academic support, answer student queries, and offer guidance on assignments and coursework.
• Advise students on academic matters, including course selection and career guidance as needed.
• Ensure grading aligns with departmental and institutional policies and academic standards.
• Contribute to the improvement of curriculum and instructional methods through feedback and participation in departmental committees.

Qualifications

• Strong teaching and public speaking skills, with the ability to clearly communicate complex concepts to students.
• Subject matter expertise in your field of teaching, along with the ability to develop curriculum and academic content.
• Research and analytical skills to contribute to academic research and improve instructional methods.
• Collaboration and mentoring skills to guide students and effectively work with faculty and staff.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and commitment to creating an inclusive and engaging academic environment.
• Prior teaching experience in higher education is preferred.
