ADAS FuRe V Safety Function

As an ADAS Safety Management professional at Skoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited (SAVWIPL), you will play a crucial role in evaluating and implementing ADAS standards and regulations for all markets. Your responsibilities will include aligning testing and performance standards with regulatory authorities, conducting risk assessment and hazard analysis in automotive systems, analyzing ADAS system safety, and ensuring automotive cybersecurity for ADAS. You will also be responsible for defining safety requirements, implementing testing standards, and certification of vehicle-level testing reporting. Your role will require a deep understanding of vehicle electrical and electronics subsystems, ADAS systems and levels of automation, regulatory requirements for various markets, as well as active and passive safety requirements for ADAS. Your expertise in project management and good administrative skills will be essential for planning and developing a structured approach to safety management. Key responsibilities will involve analyzing and designing ADAS technologies such as collision avoidance, lane-keeping assistance, adaptive cruise control, and emergency braking. You will also need to ensure safety methodologies such as Functional Safety (ISO 26262) are embedded in the design and operation of ADAS features, conduct hazard analysis and risk assessment, evaluate and mitigate risks associated with system failures and sensor malfunctions, and ensure compliance with automotive safety standards. Furthermore, you will be expected to integrate ADAS with autonomous vehicle systems, evaluate the safety of interaction between different levels of automation, address cybersecurity risks within ADAS systems, and define safety performance metrics. Your role will also involve identifying new technologies and development opportunities, ensuring project targets and milestones are met, and supporting development team meetings to arrive at the best solutions for product and company success.
