ACI Engineer

As a CISCO ACI Engineer, your role will involve deploying and managing Cisco ACI solutions in enterprise networking environments. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of data center networking, including VXLAN, routing protocols like BGP and OSPF, multicast, and Layer 2/3 technologies. Your key responsibilities will include: - Deploying and configuring Cisco Nexus switches, especially Nexus 9000 series, and managing ACI fabric using APIC CLI/GUI. - Troubleshooting ACI fabric issues to maintain high availability and performance. - Implementing ACI policy-driven networking by defining bridge domains, contracts, L3Outs, and service graphs. - Leading ACI migrations from network-centric to application-centric approaches, including dependency mapping and policy translation. - Analyzing existing network-centric environments, mapping applications to ACI constructs (tenants, EPGs, contracts), and executing migrations with minimal disruption. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful ACI deployments and migrations. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Network Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. - 8+ years of experience in enterprise networking, with at least 4 years working on Cisco ACI deployments. - Strong understanding of data center networking technologies and protocols. - Familiarity with hybrid cloud networking and micro-segmentation concepts. - Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
