Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Executive – Taxes / Taxation to manage direct and indirect tax compliance activities. The role involves ensuring timely statutory filings, accurate tax computations, audit support, and handling tax-related notices while staying updated with the latest regulatory changes.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST, TDS/TCS, and Income Tax returns in compliance with statutory deadlines.
• Prepare tax computations, reconciliations, and compliance reports for monthly, quarterly, and annual requirements.
• Monitor TDS/TCS deductions and deposits, and generate Form 16 / Form 16A through the TRACES portal.
• Maintain proper tax documentation and records to support statutory, internal, and tax audits.
• Assist auditors and provide necessary information during audit and assessment proceedings.
• Handle tax notices, queries, and compliance issues, coordinating with tax consultants and authorities when required.
• Ensure adherence to current tax laws, notifications, circulars, and internal compliance SOPs.
• Support continuous improvement of tax compliance processes and controls.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (CA Inter / MBA Finance preferred).
• Proven experience in direct and indirect taxation.
• Strong working knowledge of GST, TDS/TCS, and Income Tax regulations.
• Hands-on experience with TRACES, GST Portal, and Income Tax Portal.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple compliance requirements.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Experience Required

• 2–4 years of relevant experience in taxation or finance roles.
