Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist

As an Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist at our company based in Bareilly, UP, you will play a crucial role in managing credit, financial analysis, and customer handling. Your responsibilities will include: - Conducting credit reviews for new and existing customers by analyzing financial statements, credit reports, and trade references - Assessing creditworthiness and recommending appropriate credit limits based on risk analysis - Monitoring customer accounts for credit limit compliance and potential risks - Analyzing customer financials to evaluate liquidity, profitability, and solvency - Ensuring timely collections of outstanding receivables and following up on past due accounts - Working with EDI transactions, specifically 861 receiving reports - Reconciling discrepancies from 861 transactions and collaborating with internal departments for resolution - Submitting and managing service tickets related to shortage or damage claims via customer portals - Tracking claim resolution status and coordinating with internal teams for dispute settlement Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field - 4+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Analysis, or related roles - Strong knowledge of financial statements and credit analysis techniques - Experience with EDI systems and familiarity with 861 receiving reports - Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, etc.) and Microsoft Excel - Experience with customer portals for claims and service ticket creation - Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills - Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities Preferred skills that would be beneficial for this role include knowledge of credit insurance or scoring models, familiarity with industry-specific compliance, and experience collaborating across departments.
