Accounts Receivable Analyst

Role & responsibilities

• Claim Review and Analysis:

  Analyzing patient accounts to identify underpayments, denials, and other billing discrepancies.

• Denial Management:

  Investigating the reasons for claim denials and working to resolve them through appeals or resubmissions.

• Follow-up with Payers:

  Contacting insurance companies, both by phone and through online portals, to inquire about the status of claims and ensure timely reimbursement.

• Payment Posting and Reconciliation:

  Accurately posting payments received and reconciling accounts to ensure accurate financial records.

• Communication and Collaboration:

  Communicating with patients, providers, and insurance companies to address billing inquiries and resolve issues.

• Documentation and Reporting:

  Maintaining detailed records of all AR activities and generating reports to track performance and identify trends.
