Accounts Payable Executive

Urgent requirement for Accounts Payable Executive with 2-6 years of experience

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable Operations

• Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  
• Verify invoices with purchase orders, GRNs, and contracts.
  
• Ensure correct accounting entries in ERP/Tally/SAP.
  
• Prepare and process payment runs (NEFT/RTGS/Cheque).
  
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of invoices and payment records.
  

Vendor Management & Reconciliation

• Maintain vendor master data and ensure accuracy.
  
• Perform regular vendor ledger reconciliation and resolve discrepancies.
  
• Coordinate with vendors for statement of accounts and balance confirmations.
  
• Handle vendor queries related to invoices, payments, and deductions.
  
• Ensure timely closure of open items and disputes.
  

Compliance & Controls

• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
  
• Deduct and deposit TDS as applicable and issue TDS certificates.
  
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
  
• Support internal and statutory audits related to accounts payable.
  

Reporting & MIS

• Prepare AP ageing reports and payment forecasts.
  
• Track outstanding payables and follow up for approvals.
  
• Provide MIS reports to management as required.
  

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable processes.
  
• Experience in vendor reconciliation and ledger scrutiny.
  
• Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and compliance norms.
  
• Proficiency in Tally/ERP/SAP and MS Excel.
  
• Good communication and vendor coordination skills.
  
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Commerce (B.Com); M.Com preferred.
  
• 2–6 years of experience in Accounts Payable / Vendor Management.
  
• Experience in manufacturing / service industry preferred.
