This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial data, supports decision-making, and leads the accounting team in achieving departmental goals. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee daily operations of the accounting department (AP/AR, GL, cost accounting, bank reconciliations, and tax). Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. Develop, implement, and maintain effective internal control procedures and accounting policies. Supervise and mentor accounting team members, conducting performance reviews and fostering professional development. Lead the budgeting and forecasting process and analyze financial performance against benchmarks. Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including audits, tax filings (GST, TDS, Income Tax), and financial disclosures. Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities. Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk assessments. Support strategic planning and financial analysis for business growth initiatives. Qualifications: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., Tally,). Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and statutory compliance.
