Role & responsibilities

Job Title: Accounts Manager

Location: South Bangalore

Experience:

  • • Option 1: Accountant with 68 years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in the healthcare/hospital industry.
  • • Option 2: Fresh Chartered Accountant (CA) with strong analytical and financial skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Manage the day-to-day accounting operations of the hospital, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
  • • Ensure timely submission of statutory returns (GST, TDS, PF, ESI, etc.).
  • • Monitor cash flows, budgets, and cost control measures.
  • • Coordinate with internal and external auditors for audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • • Oversee payroll processing and ensure accurate disbursement of salaries.
  • • Support management with financial planning, forecasting, and MIS reporting.
  • • Implement and maintain effective financial controls and standard operating procedures.
  • • Liaise with vendors, consultants, and other stakeholders for financial matters.
  • • Guide and supervise junior accounting staff, if required.

Requirements:

  • • For Experienced Accountants:
  • • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce/Finance/Accounting.
  • • 6–8 years of experience in accounting or finance (hospital or healthcare experience preferred).
  • • Strong knowledge of Tally/ERP software and MS Excel.
  • • Good understanding of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
  • • For Fresh Chartered Accountants:
  • • CA qualification from ICAI.
  • • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial reporting skills.
  • • Proficiency in accounting tools and MS Excel.

  • • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • • Leadership and team management skills (for experienced candidates).
