The person has to oversee the organization's GST-related activities to ensure compliance with tax laws. This includes preparing and submitting accurate GST returns, maintaining thorough documentation, and advising the business on GST implications. The role demands a high level of accuracy and regulatory knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit accurate GST returns and filings on time.
• Ensure compliance with all GST laws and regulations.
• Conduct regular GST reconciliations and audits.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of GST transactions.
• Provide guidance on GST implications for business activities.
• Stay updated on changes in GST legislation and implement necessary adjustments.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during GST audits.
• Assist in the development and improvement of GST processes and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional certification such as CA, CPA, or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in accounting with a focus on GST.
• Strong understanding of GST laws and regulations.
• Proven experience in preparing and submitting GST returns.
