Job Description

Job Summary:

Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate books of accounts in accordance with accounting standards
Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process
Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and journal vouchers
File monthly and annual
GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B)
and ensure timely compliance
Assist in
TDS
and
Income Tax
return filings
Support in handling statutory audits and ensure compliance with applicable laws
Manage daily
banking operations
, including payments, receipts, and bank reconciliations
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal teams for financial queries
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field
Minimum
1 year of accounting experience
Working knowledge of
GST
,
Income Tax
, and
TDS
regulations
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, or similar)
Familiarity with MS Excel and other MS Office tools
Good understanding of statutory compliance and banking procedures
Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills
