Job Description

MGB Advisors is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Accounts Executive with 1–2 years of experience in accounting and finance. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes, statutory compliance, reconciliations, and financial reporting. This role requires excellent communication, customer coordination, and the ability to handle collections and follow-ups professionally.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts & Reporting

  • Manage Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, collections, follow-ups, ageing analysis, and maintaining customer ledgers.
  • Assist in preparation of Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and Balance Sheet schedules.
  • Ensure timely and accurate accounting entries in compliance with accounting standards.

Reconciliation & Compliance

  • Perform Bank Reconciliation and ensure all discrepancies are resolved.
  • Handle Debtors Reconciliation, ensuring accurate ageing and adjustments.
  • Assist in preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B).
  • Support with TDS calculations, deductions, and filing coordination.

Customer Coordination & Collections

  • Conduct customer calls for outstanding payments and follow-ups.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth collection processes.
  • Maintain proper documentation and tracking for customer interactions and payment commitments.

Operational Support

  • Prepare and maintain accounting reports and MIS.
  • Support month-end closing activities.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce (B.Com/M.Com/BAF) or MBA (Finance).
  • 1–2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Accounts Receivable, GST-R1 & 3B, TDS, Bank Reconciliation, Debtor Reconciliation, P&L, and Balance Sheet.
  • Experience in customer calling, collections, and coordination.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and basic accounting tools/software.
  • Strong communication skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, multitask, and meet deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
