Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Assistant with Tally experience to join our finance team. The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for various accounting tasks such as maintaining financial records, reconciling bank statements, processing invoices, and assisting with month-end closing activities. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in using Tally software.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Tally software
- Process and record all financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare and review various financial documents such as invoices, expense reports, and bank reconciliations
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including preparing journal entries and updating general ledger accounts
- Verify and resolve any discrepancies or errors in financial data
- Generate financial reports and assist with financial analysis as needed
- Assist in preparing and filing tax returns and other regulatory requirements
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures
- Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and support
- Collaborate with team members and cross-functional departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information
