Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Location: Jayadev Vihar, Bhubaneswar
Salary Range(Gross): ₹16,000 – ₹21,000 per month
Experience Required: Minimum 3 years
Reporting To: Accounts/Finance Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Assistant to support our finance and accounting operations. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Tally Prime, MS Excel, and MS Word, and possess a strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and follow-up on payments.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies efficiently.
• Prepare and file statutory tax returns (GST, TDS, Corporate Tax, etc.), ensuring compliance with current regulations.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing systems for all financial transactions and records.
• Support audits and assist in preparing required financial data for internal and external audits.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in accounting and finance functions.
• Proficiency in Tally Prime, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.
• Sound knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Good communication and time management skills.
