Accounts Assistant

As an experienced accountant with good knowledge of GST and TDS, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Preparation and posting in ledgers of Cash/Bank/Purchase/Journal Vouchers. You will be responsible for passing accounting entries accurately. - Maintaining all books of account, including striking a monthly trial balance, preparing the balance sheet, and Profit & Loss account. - Handling petty cash, managing inventory, and ensuring proper control over them. - Reconciling monthly Debtors & Creditors accounts, as well as performing monthly Bank Reconciliation. - Generating monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports for clients in the required formats accurately and in a timely manner. - Filing all statutory returns, such as TDS returns, Service Tax returns, and VAT returns, on the prescribed dates. - Ensuring ROC compliances on behalf of clients and facilitating Audit of Accounts. - Handling compliances and filings under GST, with preference given to candidates with CA firm experience or CA Internship. - Having knowledge of online Accounts Software like Tally ERP, Quickbooks will be an added advantage.
