Accounting Specialist

You will be joining a global, multi-billion-dollar corporation where Accounting plays a crucial role in reflecting the company's impressive earnings, profits, cash balances, and other financial results. As a Specialist on the Accounting team in Bangalore, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the company's financial success and make a significant social impact. In this role, your primary responsibility will be managing the Cash & Bank Accounting for several APJ countries. Your tasks will include preparing journals, reconciliations, and relevant documentation, as well as analyzing balances that require settlements and collaborating with the treasury to facilitate settlements. Additionally, you will be part of the Controllership for Bank Accounting, where you will identify issues, find solutions, and implement permanent fixes. Working closely with various business units such as CFS, Treasury, statutory accounting, and tax teams, you will ensure deliverables related to Cash and Bank accounting, audit, tax, and regulatory compliance are met. You will also be involved in team projects and initiatives. To excel in this role, you should be a Semi Qualified Professional Accountant or Commerce Graduate with 1-2 years of experience in accounting, ERP, reconciliations, etc. Strong knowledge of Accounting principles, excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams are essential for success. Experience working with Omega and SAP tools is desirable, and being a team player with a drive for results through collaboration will be advantageous.
