Accounting Analyst -I

Role Overview: You will be working in the Finance & Accounting Shared Services (F&A SSC) team based in Chennai, with exposure to various processes including Month end close, General Ledger accounting, Cash management, Treasury, Intercompany reconciliations, Balance Sheet Management, and Compliance reporting. Additionally, you will provide support for special projects as required by the India Finance Leadership Team. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in preparation of financial statements for all entities within the group (Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss). - Help in monthly balance sheet and profit/loss fluctuation analysis. - Aid in interco processing for the group. - Support cash management activities like bank reconciliations and unapplied cash items review. - Ensure adherence to internal controls across the group. - Assist in statutory audits and tax filings for all entities within the group. - Coordinate timely with external advisors for tax compliance matters. - Provide assistance on local tax issues. - Maintain corporate books for all countries where KHC has operations. - Participate in process improvement initiatives. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Accountancy or equivalent preferred. - Experience: 5+ years in finance department preferably in shared services environment. - Excellent communication and organizational skills. - A high level of integrity is imperative.
