Accountants

You are invited to apply for the position of Accountant at our company located in Kochi, near Changampuzha Park. We are looking for a skilled and meticulous individual with a minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, and bookkeeping. As an Accountant, your primary responsibilities will include maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, managing tax filings, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. Your key responsibilities will involve financial reporting by preparing and submitting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Additionally, you will be required to assist with tax planning, ensure timely tax filings, including GST, income tax, and other regulatory requirements. Furthermore, you will play a crucial role in budgeting and forecasting activities, assisting in the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis to support decision-making processes. It will be your duty to review and process expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and budgetary constraints. You will also be responsible for implementing and maintaining internal controls to guarantee the accuracy and integrity of financial information. Your support will be crucial during internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations. Striving for compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and legal requirements will also be a significant part of your role. To qualify for this position, you must hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as CA or CMA would be advantageous. You should possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial reporting. Proficiency in accounting software like Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, and MS Excel is essential. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, effective communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines are also required. Desirable skills include experience in tax filings, compliance, and audits, familiarity with accounting for small to medium-sized businesses, and knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
