Accountant (Zoho Specialist)

As an Accounting Assistant, your main responsibilities will include assisting in the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports. You will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies. Conducting regular audits to identify and resolve discrepancies will also be part of your duties. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing and filing tax returns such as GST, VAT, and TDS when required. Collaborating with internal teams and external auditors during audits, assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, and maintaining financial confidentiality are key aspects of this role. It is essential to stay updated with the latest accounting regulations and industry trends. To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with X years of experience in accounting or a similar role. Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or other ERP systems is required. A strong understanding of tax laws, financial reporting, and compliance requirements is essential. Attention to detail, organizational skills, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities are qualities that will contribute to your success in this role. Good communication and interpersonal skills are also important, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule.
