Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Staff to manage the day-to-day financial operations of our school in Habra, West Bengal. The ideal candidate must be well-versed in Tally and Excel, with 3–5 years of relevant experience in handling daily accounting entries and school fee collection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and record day-to-day accounting transactions using Tally
  • Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets related to student fees, expenses, and receipts
  • Handle school fee collection, prepare receipts, and reconcile payment records
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date ledger books and financial documentation
  • Assist with monthly and annual closing of accounts
  • Coordinate with the administration team for financial reporting
  • Ensure timely deposit of fees and accurate reporting to management

Requirements:

  • Graduate in Commerce or related field (B.Com preferred)
  • 3–5 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably in an educational institution
  • Proficient in Tally ERP and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
