As a Junior Officer MIS Accounting at our organization, you will be responsible for maintaining our financial integrity through various accounting tasks and supporting financial decision-making. We are looking for a detail-oriented candidate with a strong background in MIS and accounting to ensure accurate reporting and analysis, driving our business success. Responsibilities: - Process and record all types of entries in the journal voucher accurately and ensure proper books closure. - Utilize Oracle, Power BI, PowerPoint, and MS Excel to support data analysis and prepare presentations. - Prepare monthly Management Information Systems (MIS) reports to offer insights into our financial performance. - Generate and present monthly expense statements to monitor organizational spending. - Conduct variance analysis of Profit & Loss statements to identify discrepancies and trends. - Compile and prepare reconciliation statements to maintain financial data accuracy. - Create expense allocation sheets to facilitate effective budget management. - Manage Capex compilation status and monitor fixed assets management, including addition and deletion schedules. - Engage with plant personnel to address and resolve various accounting activities. - Address queries from statutory and internal audits related to accounting areas. - Perform item cost variance analysis to effectively monitor and control costs. - Initiate automation initiatives to streamline accounting processes and enhance overall efficiency. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. - Proven experience in MIS, accounting, or financial analysis. - Strong proficiency in Oracle, Power BI, PowerPoint, and MS Excel. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
