Job Summary:

We are seeking a competent and experienced Senior Accountant to independently handle account finalization, manage TDS activities, and perform GST reconciliation. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting expertise, detailed knowledge of JV entries, and proficiency in online GST payments and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently finalize and prepare accurate financial statements and accounts.
• Manage TDS calculations, workings, and timely payments.
• Conduct GST reconciliation, including verifying shortfalls, reviewing purchase entries, and making online GST payments. (Knowledge of GSTR2B for reference.)
• Draft and pass journal voucher (JV) entries necessary during account finalization.
• Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws, accounting standards, and internal controls.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Prepare reports related to TDS and GST for audits and management review.
• Keep updated with changing tax laws and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience in account finalization, TDS, and GST reconciliation.
• Strong knowledge of JV entries during account closing.
• Proficiency in accounting software and online tax filing systems.
• Attention to detail, analytical skills, and high accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills for effective reporting and coordination.
