Accountant

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all accounting transactions.
• Handle monthly closing activities and ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Ensure timely bank payments and maintain banking documentation.
• Perform general accounting tasks and maintain accounting ledgers.
• Maintain proper documentation and perform clerical duties related to finance and accounts.
• Record day-to-day expenses, purchases, and material deliveries in the system.
• Maintain and track company documents such as proposals, purchase orders, invoices, and ensure quick retrieval when required.
• Manage direct and advance payment documents, bank deposits, vendor payments, and perform bank reconciliations.
• Process travel vouchers and maintain employee reimbursement records.
• Manage daily petty cash transactions and maintain related reports.
• Maintain books of accounts up to finalization.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce (B.Com / M.Com).
• Knowledge of GST and related compliance.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
• Hands-on experience with Tally ERP.
• Good organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
