Accountant cum Storekeeper

The ideal candidate for this position should hold a minimum of a B.Com. degree or an equivalent qualification. Additionally, a minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience in the Construction Industry with a focus on Highrise Building projects is required. Your responsibilities in this role will include thorough knowledge of all construction-related materials inventory management. You should have a deep understanding and practical experience with materials, tools, and equipment commonly used in the Construction Industry. Your ability to efficiently organize materials and equipment, as well as control the inflow and outflow of stored materials, will be crucial for success. As an Accounts Cum Store Keeper, you will be tasked with managing the project's store effectively. This includes overseeing day-to-day financial activities in consultation with the Project In-Charge. You will be responsible for preparing accounts statements as per the project's requirements and format, ensuring that materials are received following the proper procedures and accurately recording them in the stock register. Furthermore, it will be your responsibility to update the stock and receive register on a daily basis, prepare Materials Purchase Reports (MPR) and Materials Received Reports (MRR), and maintain the stock ledger by preparing all necessary vouchers.
