Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Chartered Accountancy (CA) firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling accounting operations, financial records, tax filings, and assisting in audits under the guidance of senior Chartered Accountants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate books of accounts and general ledgers.
• Prepare and finalize balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and financial reports.
• Handle GST filing, TDS, and income tax returns for clients.
• Assist in statutory, internal, and tax audits.
• Reconcile bank statements and manage accounts payable/receivable.
• Prepare and verify vouchers, journal entries, and invoices.
• Support clients in compliance with accounting standards and tax laws.
• Maintain documentation for audits and financial review purposes.
• Coordinate with auditors, clients, and tax departments as required.
• Use accounting software such as Tally, Tally Prime, Busy, or ERP systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance.
• 5–6 years of experience working in a CA firm or accounting environment.
• Sound knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and ROC compliances.
• Proficiency in Tally, Excel, and accounting tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and team coordination skills.
