As an Accounting Assistant, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Data Entry: You will be responsible for inputting financial data into accounting software and ensuring the accuracy of all entries. - Reconciliation: Your tasks will include reconciling bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts. - Assist in Financial Reporting: You will support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. - Support Audits: You will assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information. - Administrative Support: Providing administrative support to the accounting department as needed. The qualifications required for this role are as follows: - Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Experience: 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role. - Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., BUSY, Tally, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word). - Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in work. - Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with the manufacturing industry or similar sectors. Please note that this is a full-time position that requires you to work in person.
