Account Manager - Fund Accounting

As an AVP - Hedge Fund Accounting at Apex Group, your role will involve closely working with Client Service Managers to administer Alternative Funds. You should have around 9 plus years of experience in Hedge Fund Administration and NAV calculations. **Role Overview:** You will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and managing the daily workflows of client deliverables within the team. Your key responsibilities will include: - Reviewing and preparing NAVs of hedge fund clients on a daily/monthly basis. - Preparing Cash/Position/Market Value Reconciliations and resolving breaks. - Reviewing pricing of the portfolio and analyzing pricing exceptions. - Reviewing corporate actions booked in the system and ensuring correct reflection in books. - Accruing/amortizing daily or monthly non-security related Fee accruals. - Processing non-automated transactions including OTC derivatives. - Communicating with clients on daily reporting of Estimates/NAVs/Query resolutions. - Finalizing month-end NAV of the client and providing Investor Level Allocation reports. - Providing support in Audits for funds in the preparation of financial statements. - Coordinating with Internal/External Stakeholders such as Securities/Trades and Pricing Team, Reporting Team, Auditors, etc. - Monitoring deliverables to ensure high SLA compliance within set accuracy standards. **Qualification Required:** - Experience working with an investment management or finance-related firm. - 9-12 years of experience in Hedge Fund administration or related industry. - M.com/CA/MBA Finance/CFA. - Familiarity with Paxus is a major plus. - Proficiency in advanced Excel functions. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. **Additional Company Details:** Apex Group is a global financial services provider with 10,000 staff across 50+ offices globally.
